An Apology

Performed at Shorts and Bloomers, January 2013, Teviot Row House

Presented as Jamboree, a clown collective with Rosie Al-Mulla, Paul Hughes, Will Naameh, Alex Fernandes, Rohanne Udall

A group of straight faces no-nose clowns apologise for not having made a show, but explain all the wonderful things that would have happened if they did.

A world of better possibility emerges which reveals the underlying expectations and agendas at play in the creation and sharing of new performance. It paints a picture of a better show, with a better cast, director, venue, city and even audience. What would we all do instead? Maybe hang out, share some work, have a good time.
